This is one of the coolest weddings I've ever been to. Needless to say, I'm so thankful that Melissa Kruse Photography asked me to second shoot this with her. Allison and Liang had an epic Chinese-American fusion wedding, complete with a gorgeous, Vera Wang gown, Er-hu and Pipa performances, a tea ceremony, and lots and lots of red! I even got to practice my Mandarin -- my parents would be proud :)
The ceremony was held in the main lounge of The Yale Club of New York City, and incredibly timeless and elegant venue.
The reception hall was decked out in beautiful purple, red, and blue hues, with the Chinese character for "Double Happiness" projected prominently on the wall.
